Walden University Graduate Reviews

I am currently enrolled as a graduate student majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I take all of my courses online, and I do not feel like I miss out on anything! The students as well as the professors are responsive and eager to help and learn from each other. I would recommend anyone who is questioning whether or not they want to take on their counseling dreams to go for it! Especially online at Walden University because no matter if you have a family to tend to, a busy work life, travel often, it doesn't matter! You can have all of those things that you want AND pursue your academic goals online. Walden is relatively inexpensive, doesn't require taking the GRE for the application; the admissions counselors are eager and willing to answer any questions you have without being too invasive in your personal life.

I got my Masters and working on PhD at this University... Great school! My graduate study at Walden will contribute to me becoming a Psychologist with a private practice; my goal. The jobs that I have experienced has brought me to the realization that much is needed in this world. I think that this is the consciousness of social change; the changes in human interactions and relationships that transform cultural and social societies. That is why I consider myself a constant or lifelong learner. I feel it keeps me obligated to my future. The many roles of women, mother, student and partner keep me as a continuous learner.
Studying at Walden is fun. The online programs are best suited for the working student. The instructors are very friendly and approachable. The course content is well structured to allow critical thinking and interaction with other students in the class. The assignments challenge the students to think critically about concepts and to integrate the concepts learned into practice. The other services like the learning center, the writing center the library academic advising and 24 hours online help enhance the student learning experience at Walden. I look forward to pursuing my doctorate at Walden University and hope someone else finds this experience exciting!
