University of Wisconsin - River Falls Reviews

4 reviews
Department of Communicative Disorders: The classes focused on theory and only briefly touched on therapy and intervention strategies. Many of the professors were either unknowledgeable in the subject they taught or supervised or were impersonable. The department allowed the graduate students to take on many clients, which was helpful in preparing for real-life experiences during externships and later careers.

Excellent program and professors. Affordable, though many students living in Minnesota and commuting end up paying much more for the same education. Facilities are fairly basic, location is less than desirable, lacking diversity.
River Falls (in my experience) has, for the most part, great professors who really make time in their busy schedules to meet with students and actually get to know them, rather than each student just feeling like a blank face in the crowd. The campus is really pretty and although the school doesn't have the most funding, is well kept and for the most part updated on technology.
