I have been taking the online MBA program for about 2 years now and only have one class left! It has been an overall very good experience. I have learned a ton. The pace is pretty quick, you take one class at a time, in a condensed 7-week period. Usually 2 classes per semester: spring, summer, and fall. The UWF student affairs, specific to graduate school, and even specific to the MBA program would call every few weeks to check in and see how I was progressing and inquiring if I needed any assistance. I never really utilized their services but it was fabulous that even as an online student, they would check in on me, by name. The professors were always readily available and responded to emails extremely fast. I was always able to get the help I needed in a very timely fashion for each class. The academic advisors were also available to assist in any way, at almost any time. Very helpful! Overall this program has been painless, considering I’m doing it while working a full-time job.
I enjoyed my experience. Even though it was mostly online everyone was helpful! Everyone from the enrollment person to the teachers were very helpful!
I have had a great first semester at University of West Florida. Through my college history, I have experienced many different types of teaching styles. I must say that, teachers at this college reach out to help and offer support. I took my first test and did not do so well. The next day, I got a call, not an email, from my teacher asking me how she could help. She gave me some great study tips/suggestions and I did much better on the next test.
