My academic experience so far has been amazing! The faculty and staff have gone great lengths to ensure I get the best education possible. They have exceeded my expectation with their effort and genuine care for students in this program.
I think that academics is one of the school's strong suits. Because it is a big name school, lots of faculty are nationally or world-renowned. This means you are learning from the best of the best! While I greatly appreciate having a program that is strong in academics and research, The downside was that there was slightly less time spent on the actual clinical application when in the classroom. Definitely something to consider if you plan to do clinical work of any kind.
It’s been a great experience learning how to do physical therapy. I’m currently in the first graduating class for the physical therapy program in Saint George utah. A lot of the classes are through zoom but I don’t feel like it affects my learning any differently than if I was physically in SLC since the projector is as big as a movie theater.
