I am a degree holder in BSN who intends to apply for a course leading to Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. The BSN course imparted in me the ability to practice across various outpatient and inpatient settings, alongside case management, organizational, communication, emotional, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
After completing my BSN, I enlisted with Laredo Medical Center as a bedside nurse. I provide direct care to patients. I anchor everyone who passes through my care in the frantic hospital setting. In the same vein, I record and assess patients' symptoms, administer medicine, and perform diagnostic tests, to name a few. Furthermore, I utilize my connection of empathy and trust in facilitating comfort for patients and their families

Very great opportunity to learn from the best at this school! I am part of the graduate school of biomedical sciences and they are always so engaged, give us career exploration opportunities, and student life provides fun ways to forget about school for an evening in the form of Zoom Bingo night, catering from local restaurants, and free items that are always available to pick up in the office1
Unfortunately, I started school during the pandemic so I experienced my first year a lot differently than students from previous years. I am so happy about going to a school that is located on Galveston Island. The drive to school is always scenic and there is no undergraduate population so everything that you see around campus is geared toward the graduate/professional schools.
