University of St. Thomas - Texas Reviews

I was not sure if I could complete this program going into it, but professors are very positive and motivating. I feel they are invested in my learning as is the university. Everyone is willing to help. I also find resources on the library section of the website easy to access and plentiful. I feel my overall experience thus far has been meaningful to my educational journey because of the helpfulness of staff, professors and students accepted into the program. I was also given information on future outcomes and additional certificates before my completion of the curriculum and instruction graduate program. This is very promising and motivating for the progression within the educational system.

The professors make the work engaging. There are also opportunities for peer help and communications. We must post to the discussion board about two peers’ work. I find the coursework to be engaging and coincides with real world experiences as a teacher. There is a lot of work. I recently had to resign my position due to the pandemic because of my living circumstances. Therefore if I were at work there is no way I would be able to read two assigned chapters thoroughly to complete the weekly workload. Also products are expected to be detailed, in a certain format and on time. There is great discipline and commitment, but this is what education is. I wouldn't expect anything less.
I am currently pursuing a Master's of Science degree in Accounting which I firmly believe will furnish me with the essentail knowledge, skills and resources needed to be successful in the business world. In addition, the University of St.Thomas (UST) - Texas, offers students the opportunity to serve through volunterism. Students are able to help beautify their campus and serve others in the greater Houston community. Moreover UST students, faulty and staff truly embodies the Basilian core values of goodness, discipline, and knowledge.
