The University of Southern Maine provides a rich environment in Portland and Lewiston, Maine that is affordable and accessible to everyone. The graduate school at USM strives to provide strong a strong academic environment where each student can succeed, despite where they are beginning from.

As a new graduate student who has worked for several years since undergrad, I am excited to be able to participate and have a direct impact on my community as I study Occupational Therapy.

I am majoring in social work, and all classes pertaining to my degree has been engaging and encouraging. Each professor I have had has been approachable and kept workload manageable and interesting. The courses I have taken so far in works towards my degree have left me wanting more. My classes have kept me engaged and looking forward to lessons and readings.
The campus is clean, the professors are professional, approachable, and easy to work with. Advising staff is also easily available to answer any questions and assist with any needs. It is easy to navigate around the campus with no confusion.
