University of South Alabama Reviews

The Master's of Nursing program is EXCELLENT! They have everything very organized and make things super simple to progress through the program. All of the hands-on equipment is modern and allows real, hands-on experience with presented scenarios. I am very happy with my choice to go out of state and apply for the USA program.

I went here for online graduate education in nursing. Great faculty and campus (when I visited a few times). Very pretty coastal town. Tuition is affordable and was a great return on investment. Some of the online platform interfaces were not the greatest and online test taking through the proctor was difficult at times. However, IT was very helpful with any issues. Faculty are approachable and almost always available to answer questions, give insight into expectations, and really cultivated an environment in which I could thrive from a distance. I would definitely recommend them for graduate nurse training.
As a student in the master's program for nurse practitioners, I have had a great experience so far in the University of South Alabama hybrid program. My instructors have been supportive, and informative. Writing assignments have been focused on topics that broaden our knowledge about issues that will affect our careers as advanced practice nurses. The study guides provided have been extremely helpful in preparing for exams which have been paramount to learning such a large amount of information in such a short time.

As soon as I was accepted into the program I received a detailed list of all of my required courses with a schedule of which classes had pre-requisites and co-requisites to ensure stress-free planning for the future. The University of South Alabama also allows a payment plan with four payments across the semester for students that are not able to pay 100% upfront but don't want to take out student loans which were perfect for our family.
