I was in the Masters of Business Analytics with a Sports concentration. It was a great experience for me to learn more about analytics in the sports world. We worked on anything within the sport itself like the movie Moneyball to analytics within the management of what teams need newer stadiums. Overall it was a great learning experience for me and I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested in being a sports analyst, sports scientist, or even sports administrator.
It seems that the courses and the academics are pretty rigorous. I am excited to be a part of the cohort of students in this program. We will have classes involving business and entrepreneurship, as well as technical courses that will give us great insight into our projects. The idea is to learn what we are going to need in order to complete our projects. These courses go from business law to social impact in communities.
While I haven't started classes yet this year, my enrollment went pretty smooth. I was required to submit an official transcript and I was able to request it quickly and send it over. We have had multiple meetings with the recruiters and current and former students who are able to talk to us about the courses and the university experience. It seems that it will be demanding, however, we will be able to get what we need if we get stuck.
