My academic experience at UNF was fantastic. I enjoyed it so much that it's the only Graduate school I've applied (and accepted) to.
The small class sizes with very experienced professors allowed me to connect with my professors and other students. As someone who did poorly in High School and worked my way into a great University and exciting career at an incredible company, UNF allowed me to take responsibility for my academic experience with their available resources.

This academic program is great because of the organization, the help of other students and the teachers are a great help. They are kind and depending on your major they have had some experience and can give you great advice. They are always open too 1on1 communication to make sure that you have a good understanding of what is being taught. I also like how the classrooms are set up with usually less than 30 students. This makes it very helpful when asking for help in class. The program and the Osprey community are open-minded and always available to help someone in need. I have had to ask for directions to my classes multiple times and I either get a great description of where to go or they even may walk with me too the class. All of this is really helpful when I became apart of this new organization out of highschool. It seemed as if it was going to be a really nervous interaction but when I got their I felt “at home” real quick.
In 2013 I began my education journey at the University of North Florida. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. In 2017 I returned to complete my Master's degree in Elementary education. I have nothing but positive experiences with the University of North Florida. I have met many wonderful educators and worked with fantastic professors who have enriched my knowledge on being a teacher. Through partnership with the university, I have hosted interns in my classroom. It has been a wonderful experience going from an intern through the university to an educator furthering my degree from the very school that prepared me in the profession I am now in.
