University of Nebraska at Kearney Reviews

As part of my online master of science in biology, I've had an opportunity to pursue independent research with a mentor that has been great and while my online classes WERE online classes, the vast majority of the time the class culture was very communicative and professors were there to help you be successful while upholding their academic expectations. The required courses are meaningful and purposeful and reinforced in the other courses. My FAVORITE class was Scientific Illustration, but I've also taken a distance lab class, deepened knowledge on some topics (human anatomy, physiology, & histology) and added new ones (plant physiology)!

I was thrilled with the educational guidance the University of Nebraska at Kearney provided for my teaching career. I am currently in my sixth year teaching and continuously use the information and strategies I acquired at UNK in my classroom every day.

The College of Education is filled with many highly qualified professors who are willing and available to discuss your future goals with you. They are there to help answer any and all questions you have regarding classes and scheduling.

The campus is a quick 15-20 minute walk from one end to the other. It is a beautiful campus and UNK is continuing to extend and improve the campus and buildings.
It is amazing and has so many unique biology courses to offer! I highly recommend this school if you are looking to earn a degree online! The advisers are extremely helpful and all of the professors are prompt with their e-mail responses. I have learned so much through this university and I really enjoy getting home from work to sit down and study!
