MU has provided me an excellent education from prominent researchers and dedicated teachers. The student body is cooperative, rather than competitive and has been nothing but welcoming. The University has many free resources for students, including a rich and historic library, the Teaching 4 Learning Center, and the Student Success Center. Professional development programs are a regular event, such as professional head shots, teaching symposia, the Preparing Future Faculty program, graduate-level Professoriate class for those considering a career in academia, as well as non-ac advising for those looking to get out of the Ivory Towers. MU has been a great experience for me and with such a big school, there's something for everyone here.
I haven't started yet but so far the website was helpful for researching available programs, the application process was initiative and quick-paced. The staff reached out quickly and responded to any questions prompted. The enrollment process has been seamless!
