The Masters of Psychology program at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has consistently impressed me with its knowledgeable, approachable faculty and outstanding curriculum that has exposed me to new ideas and helped me think critically about my field. The student support here is top-notch with access to academic advisors, career counselors, and other resources that have helped me succeed. I've also had a wealth of research opportunities that have allowed me to gain valuable experience and make a meaningful contribution to my field. This has been an incredibly rewarding aspect of my time here and has helped me to grow both personally and professionally. The combination of exceptional faculty, challenging curriculum, excellent student support, and valuable research opportunities make this program stand out in a crowded field, and I feel confident that it has prepared me for a successful future.
As a graduate student at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, I have had a truly wonderful experience so far. One of the things that have made my time here so special is the quality of the faculty. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and truly dedicated to our success as students. I have learned so much from them and have always felt supported in my academic endeavors. However, I would like to learn more about how to secure funding for my research projects. It seems to fall short when it comes to helping navigate the process of finding and applying for funding opportunities. I have not personally faced this roadblock yet, but I know that it can be a challenge for many students as they try to move their research forward. Despite these challenges, the support and guidance I have received from the faculty have been invaluable. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this program and feel confident that I am well-prepared for a successful career in my field.
I have always felt at home at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and it was such an easy transition from undergraduate to graduate studies. There is a niche for everyone with a multitude of program offerings and extracurricular activities. Majority of advisors and professors are extremely helpful and care about your success. Post graduation, the alumni program is amazing and you still have the opportunity to feel connected to the university. As an online student, I feel just as much a part of the University as anyone else.
