University of Hawaii at Manoa Reviews
Rating 4.16 out of 5 31 reviews
Great campus. Hard to make friends if you’re a transfer or grad student. Parking sucks. Based on what other people told me, living on campus is a lot of fun. There are many campus activities and resources. Commuting to campus is tough. If you buy a moped it’ll probably get stolen. Crime is pretty high at UH Manoa. So be careful with your belongings! Their bus system is fantastic. I took the bus to class from Waikiki and it took about 20 minutes. UH has great libraries and cafeterias! If you plan on living on campus invest in a fan. I’m pretty sure most dorms don’t have ACs. Regardless of where you live, invest in a AC or fan!
The location is, of course, very inviting. The campus is beautiful! The people are very friendly due to the concept of 'Aloha'.
I learned a lot from in-person classes as well as online instruction. I am still a student and am taking classes online for Fall 2020 semester.

I am excited to hopefully get accepted! I applied a few months ago and just waiting on my transcripts to get there. So far they have been welcoming and helpful since I am obviously an under graduate student right now. The Special Education department has answered all my questions in a timely manner and were very kind to say the least.
