University of Georgia College of Education Reviews
Rating 4.6 out of 5 5 reviews
I have loved my time at UGA. I am a masters and teacher certification student. I came in right after COVID, so it was interesting to see the difference from my first semester, to my second, and then into my finals semesters in my program. All of my teachers are always more than willing to help and are passionate about what they do.
I encourage any program at UGA for graduate school. I also loved being in the classroom as opposed to online. I am the first of my family to go to college at all, so this is a new journey for my family and something I am doing on my own. I am excited to be the first undergraduate college graduate and first graduate school graduate in my family.
The LLOD program is great in content and the professors are wonderful, but there is an obvious need for more student support administratively. They strongly rely on Holly Ivy (who is WONDERFUL) to do things that faculty advisors should sometimes do. Investing in a graduate-level academic advisor would be very beneficial for the program.
