University of California - Davis Graduate Reviews

6 reviews
UC Davis is the home of the Aggies — go-getters, change makers and problem solvers who make their mark at one of the top public universities in the United States.

Since we first opened in 1908, we’ve been known for standout academics, sustainability and Aggie Pride as well as valuing the Northern California lifestyle. These themes are woven into our 100-plus-year history and our reputation for solving problems related to food, health, the environment and society.

Our 5,300-acre campus is in the city of Davis, a vibrant college town of about 68,000 located in Yolo County. The state capital is 20 minutes away, and world-class destinations such as the San Francisco Bay Area, Lake Tahoe and the Napa Valley are within a two-hour drive.

The UC Davis community is very supportive of the individual allowing students to discover what career paths are right for them. The diversity of departments and enthusiastic faculty encourages self introspection related to career goals. Additionally, the student environment is not competitive but inspiring since students often collaborate in order to do well in their classes. This is a school for those trying to maximize their potential through community-guided values and a high caliber of academics.
This school is amazing! Great academics, the professors are amazing, lots of resources on campus to help you succeed and do well in class (free tutoring, tons of study spots, free workshops), good food on campus (Shah's is sooo good!) and everyone is SO friendly. The city itself is a cozy college town (really affordable) and downtown Davis is super fun! I have a ton of great things to say about this school and city. If you go here, best decision of your life.
