Something I love about the University of Arizona is the campus and campus activities. There are a lot of free events for students. The campus itself is also just very beautiful and well organized. The other day I went to an event they were holding called Halloween Hounds and Hoagies. They had a bunch of therapy dogs in the education building to offer emotional support for students. Jimmy Johns catered the event so there were plenty of yummy sandwiches to go around (including sandwiches for people with dietary needs). Everyone hosting the event was dressed in costumes. It was really cute and a fun way to spend my time between classes. I appreciate going somewhere that offers fun stuff for students like this. I also wanted to mention my love for Campus Health. The staff there is amazing and they help me with all of my medical needs. They never do more than I ask and always listen to my problems. Some of the doctors will even call me or email me to check in after my visits!
Since I still have not graduated yet, my views of the school might carer to the freshmen or those who want to apply to this university. The university itself is very beautiful with spots to eat with friends, study, or to just take in the wildlife. The teachers I've had so far have been great at helping their students understand the assignments and are eager to help out in whichever way they can. I have yet to find any faults and believe the university of Arizona is a great place to go if you're uncertain about what you want to do as your career path as they have a multitude of undergraduate programs at an affordable cost.
For the first year, students start off generally taking lower level classes to prepare them for the next year or semester. Although some might say they're not that useful or a waste of time, these classes are perfect for students who are new to the environment, campus, and everything dealing online. The class work that I have been taking so far are relatively easy to finish as long as you organize your work and make sure that the material is read and understood to an extent.
