The clinical mental health counseling program has been wonderful for me. I am learning what I need to know to become a counseling professional. The courses are rigorous but the instructors allow for grace and learning. My fellow classmates are engaging and we feel like we are a family. We encourage each other, which adds to the great experience in the program. The internship options are great as well. Though we come from all across the nation and the globe, there are internship sites which meet our needs as students, workers, and prospective counselors.
Excellent school! I love the flexibility of their online Master's Program. Professors are helpful and want to ensure you understand the material.
The course work at the University of West Alabama online was very intense for me, but manageable. I enjoyed the courses. I really feel like I learned a lot from each course. The professors were genuinely understanding and helpful. They made themselves readily available if needed. Grades were returned in appropriate time spans. They also gave you comments on your graded assignments, which I really liked. Resources were made available to students to ensure their success in the classes. There were also several options for purchasing books as well. The entry process was very simple. It only took s fee steps to apply. I had a few problems with my financial aid in the beginning, but the university helped me to quickly rectify the situation and get back enrolled in the classes that I had previously registered for after being dropped. They worked with me day in and day out until my verification process was complete. I would reccomend this program to anyone trying to obtain an online degree!!!
