Texas A&M University Reviews
Rating 4.64 out of 5 98 reviews
Texas A&M University (TAMU) is an amazing and affordable choice for students of all backgrounds! Both the staff and the students are more than happy to help you out if you have any questions or even just want advice. The engineering program, one of the best in the country, provided numerous opportunities for students who pursue the field. The only thing that could be better improved upon is the Entry To A Major (ETAM) program that incoming engineers have to go through.
It was an amazing experience! It does have a bunch of resources to help you succeed! It doed have a sense of community even though the class sizes are 500+ on entry-level. It does have a lot of student organizations, so there is a little bit of everything you can think of. It is growing on it's diversity and inclusion, which is really appreciated. Has a lot of community service and leadership programs available, on-campus and off-campus. Most professors are nice and helpful, you do have to check for reviews once in a while, but they are all nice. The campus is quite old, but just like College Station, it keeps getting better semester by semester. Everyone is friendly and you have to be prepared to be in a cult. Texas A&M University is not joking when it mentions is full of traditions. The traditions are oging to be thrown at you almost every single day, but it is what is makes a sense of community and you will learn to love it. Did I mention the mascot is a dog, Reveille? Is so cute.
Overall, an amazing university I had the blessing to attend and graduate from my undergrad. I have recently been accepted into the Visualization Graduate Program for Fall 2021 and am excited to pursue my master's degree under this program. Amazing people all around and a very welcoming community, it was a pleasure to meet many new individuals, share experiences with my classmates, and form new friendships. I hope to take this experience into my new degree field to better my connections and collaboration skills!
