I just started my study at Tepper (Business school), Carnegie Mellon. It's part time on-line program but the academics is as rigorous as the full time. The school hosts 'Access Weekends' at the start of every mini-semesters providing hotels, foods and transportation from hotel to school. I've met many professionals from other industries and it was a great experience and this can be a great opportunity for your networking!
The program I'm enrolled is part time online MBA program, but I think it is as rigorous as the full time program and very demanding. As a working professional, I have to study/attend classes after my work AND weekends as well. Everyone in my cohort is very driven and they keep up the good work. The staffs are excellent. The contents are related to the real-life problems, and the teaching staffs are very knowledgeable. In addition they provide good resources and supports you may need for your academic achievement or for your career development.
I enjoyed my time at the Tepper School. The most positive factors influencing my review were the small class size in the Part-Time Program (meaning that you didn't fight for 1:1 time with your professors [as this is what your tuition should primarily support], and that you really had a chance to become a tight-knit community with your classmates), the quant-heavy curriculum, and the partnerships the TS had with other departments, specifically with respect to product development, the school of public policy, and the various sponsored hackathons & engineering to business bridge programs that span across ALL the Carnegie Mellon schools.
