Syracuse University Reviews
Rating 4.37 out of 5 35 reviews
The Master's in Public Administration (MPA) program at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs is the #1 program in the nation. Maxwell has wonderful professors, students, course offerings, and career prospects! There are many opportunities to get involved within the community and attend presentations with speakers and attend important career related information sessions! The program is also less expensive than its competitors, and its a 1 year program!
The social life of grad students is really lacking. There should be more opportunities for grad students in different departments to get to know each other and make personal/ professional connections. I hate the administration at Syracuse though. They are working in a top down model to reduce costs and get more money into the pockets of high ups. They don't care about minority students or international students. They took away scholarships for people of color and got rid of the sexual assault prevention team over night, leaving critical gaps in service.
Syracuse University offers unlimited resources for students who wants to pursue a successful career. Not only academic but also social affairs are highly encouraged in this university. From sports to student organizations, outgoing people will find every opportunity to improve themselves.
