SUNY Cortland Reviews

3 reviews
I waited 15 years to return to Cortland to raise a family and work. It was worth the wait! I enjoyed the curriculum and have an enormous amount of respect for the school, teachers and administrators. I would greatly appreciate financial assistance to help finish my masters degree program where I can soon say, “I did it!”

Overall the application process was very easy and the staff were super flexible in working with whatever financial situation you have in order to apply to graduate school. They have even went as far as to waive your placement fee if you're a displaced worker like I am. Furthermore, the director of my program was very thorough in explaining the program expectations, answering any questions you may have. As far as the environmental and outdoor program goes I feel it's well-rounded and flexible enough that you can shape it for transfer into a PhD program down the line, or move directly into your career path of your choice.
The online program is fantastic! I appreciate the pace of the coursework and engagement with teacher and classmates. I highly recommend it.
