Shaw University Graduate Reviews

I started at Shaw in 2014 as a CAPE Student. The advisors, professors, coordinators and faculty were awesome! I really appreciate the support I received during my pursuit of an undergraduate degree. I was recently accepted at the Divinity school there and I look forward to an epic experience.

Shaw University is documented as being the first historically black college or university in the south of the United States of America, arriving at a time when the end of slavery was upon men, and solutions for advancement were developed to address the need for education of those that had been enslaved. The school provides the opportunity for growth and development today, building upon those early foundations and allowing those in need to achieve. All that is needed for this university to be at the top of the list of selections is more funding, so as to remain current or exceed the offerings of other schools in the area, the nation, and around the globe.
