Current Master's student: Although, I have not started my graduate program yet, the application has been simple and straightforward. I also received news of my acceptance in a timely manner. I hope to have the opportunity to begin my classes for this upcoming spring semester. The faculty shows to have amazing credentials and look forward to learning from them. Also, the networking opportunities seem to have great potential at this university and program. I have attended a couple of webinars and the potential students all seem to come from different age groups, experiences, backgrounds, and jobs. I look forward to working with them and to learn from their prospectives on subjects that will be discussed in the program. I will follow up with more reviews as I go through the program, in order to help guide potential students look to further their education. Overall my experience has been terrific and the admissions team has be very transparent.... Read 22 reviews

Master's Student: The best parts of my program have been the field experience and collaborating with other individuals in my classes of different age groups. I have learned an immense amount from my colleagues in all of my courses and find that we support each other in a way that I never experienced as an undergrad at Miami University. In this field of work it is important that you have people who you can lean on and go to for questions and I have found that here in this program. I would say the only thing that I dislike about this program is how it is completely online. I say that only because I would love to have in-person classes with my colleagues to make those supports and relationships stronger. Overall this is an awesome program that Miami provides and I could not be any happier with my experience.... Read 1 review

Alum: The Woods College at Boston College allows working adults to pursue a graduate degree with ease. The faculty care about their students, and really value hard workers. They are always accessible and incorporate online and in-person assignments. I felt that the program I attended did a great job of advancing my skillset and helping me to be a leader in my field.... Master's Student: The courses were difficult, but offered a great variety in terms of options. Core classes were obviously required, but offered great flexibility in terms of when to take each course. The teachers were passionate about their topic and really tried to help students learn and grow throughout the semester. It shows that the ISOM is truly trying to prepare their students for the post-graduation real world.... Read 9 reviews

Alum: I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. The professors were knowledgeable, fair, and respectful. They provided students with an outline of the course being administered to aid in time management and organization. Every professor in the program was courteous and caring. When a student had questions or concerns, they were answered in a timely manner.... Read 5 reviews

Alum: The University of Iowa typically treats their grad students quite well. The faculty are dedicated to student success and go out of their way to ensure you learn what you need to, cater to your interests and skills, and have the financial security to continue your studies. Iowa pays humanities grad students well and the health insurance is both stellar and cheap. The environment is friendly and supportive rather than competitive, which was hugely important for me. I wish things could have been more interdisciplinary. The other issue and of a growing concern is that the University board and new president were heading in a direction that wasn't student friendly or focused (or faculty/staff for that matter). As I graduated (2018), there were increasing discussions of cutting benefits, assistantships, tenure packages.... Read 3 reviews

Master's Student: Staff is extremely helpful during the application process, the online format for distance learning is extremely proficient, especially amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic. The faculty is always willing to stay behind after class and answer any questions or concerns, and the small student-to-teacher ratio helps facilitate an engaging learning environment. Class times are in the evening to assist students who work full-time.... Read 3 reviews

Alum: The professors and administration are all very helpful and genuinely want to see you succeed. They make themselves available for questions and concerns often and will work with any situation to make sure you can be successful in the program and beyond. My only complaint is that I wish there had been an option to do dual tracks of the Health Education program because now I have to take far more classes outside of the program in order to sit for a specific certification exam (which is geared more toward the track that I didn't take). Overall, though, the Health Education program was so well-taught that it prepared me to pass the CHES exam on my first attempt without having studied!... Read 9 reviews

Doctoral Student: Just finished my first year of PT school at Neumann and despite the Covid changes that occurred, it's been a good experience. The professors are extremely knowledgable and most are very supportive. As of right now the only changes I hope are made relate to the assigned advisors. Some students have been struggling with everything going on and have reached out for advice and it's typically a generic response. I'm not sure the professors are struggling themselves so it's hard for them be supportive or if this is a normal thing. Overall the program is great but I'm hoping to see some positive changes as we transition back to in person learning.... Read 7 reviews
