    Graduate Student: My enrollment advisor, Mr. Petronus Williams was invaluable in the process of touting all of the benefits of choosing the University of California as my destination of choice for my Masters degree. We discussed the high academic caliber of professors along with the school's stellar reputation. Of most importance was our discussion of my eventual standing in the world of Gerontology after graduation which clinched the deal for me. The fact that the classes were online did not discourage me because more work is required in online courses. I'm not afraid of hard work and my 3.68 GPA is proof of that. I am looking forward to the start of class and more learning ALL I can in the field of Gerontology. Onward and upward at USC thanks to Mr. Williams. I salute you!

        Graduate Student: Being at Carolina is an incredible experience. Coming in a transfer student, I can honestly say I wish I had more time here. Majority of the professors are caring, understanding, and knowledgeable about their craft, and you can tell how excited some are to share what they know to their students and help them succeed.

        School pride is BIG thing here and once a Tar Heel always a Tar Heel. There’s an indescribable connectedness and family feel you get once you enter Carolina that can’t be found once outside of it. With that in mind, Carolina can be like a bubble if you don’t step outside your comfort zone and experience what surrounding areas have to offer. You can find your niche here, however, as there is SOMETHING for everybody.

         That being said, the culture is accepting but keep in mind that it is the South so some views are still dated.

        At the end of it all, those years will fly by and the memories you create will last a lifetime.

          Graduate Student: I am a graduate student in Northeastern University. I have completed my 1st semester in the college of engineering, and have had a very wonderful experience. I have built solid relations with my professors. The professors are very helpful and always encourage their students to achieve more im their field, and are always approachable. Also the facilities provided to the students by the university like the library amd sports centers are awesome and have a very good atmosphere.
          Also there are many student organizations in the university, which help the students on making connections and also help in the overall development of the students, so I urge you to join any one of the student organization.

            Graduate Student: I love UT so much. It's very affordable and by attending, you're getting a degree from a "public ivy". Your degree will go a long way. The academics can be very very challenging, but you're in classes with top notch professors and really smart and hard working classmates.
            Outside of academics, there are a ton of organizations and clubs to be involved in. The greek scene is huge but for people looking outside of that, there is an outstanding radio station, comedy magazine, interest clubs, service clubs, and intramural athletics. Th campus is beautiful and despite a few recent incidents, the campus feels safe. The atmosphere is welcoming.
            Ultimately you get out what you put in and if you invest time and energy into pursuing what you love, there's no better place to study than UT.

              Graduate Student: I'm in my second year as a grad student at UW-Madison. It's great! I really like it! The university overall is extremely research based, which is not for everybody. I do think that the incredible reputation of this university is mostly built on alumni relations, rather than actual academic quality. Madison is a fantastic place, the campus is beautiful, and State Street leading up to the capitol are iconic.

                Graduate Student: I liked that there was a sense of family on campus...which is a pretty impressive feeling to create on a campus that has about 50,000 undergraduate students. Also, I loved my professors and all of my classes; most of the professors really genuinely care about the success of their students and want them to learn and do well. The campus is gorgeous and there is plenty to do on and around campus. One of my main issues is how hard they push research; there is this feeling among undergraduate students that if you aren't involved in research, either through a thesis project or volunteering in a professor's research lab, then what are you even doing with your life? Research is obviously extremely important and necessary work, but it is pushed so hard that many undergraduates feel overwhelmed and exhausted by the time they complete their bachelor's degree. Also, some departments seem to care more about enticing faculty to come to UF and stay there than they do about the students.

                  Graduate Student: An amazing institution! UGA has something for every student, regardless of their intended major or interest. You can be a theater-loving rugby player or a chemistry/hip-hop dance double major and UGA will surely have a club or class that you can get involved in. Not only that but UGA is also located in one of the best cities in the world, Athens, GA!

                          Graduate Student: There were so many opportunities I missed out on during my undergraduate career at TAMU. I am back now for my master's and I wish when I had more time as an undergrad to go out and explore my campus, organizations, and talk with more people in my classes and talk with my professors. Go to office hours! Take advantage of the REC center. Attend events on campus and bring some friends along. Get involved in your community. It's important to explore your freshman first semester and then build a strong foundation your second semester and learn from previous mistakes.

                            Graduate Student: I could not love this university more. There is a place for everyone and college is what you make of it. I had a job on campus for three years, and was involved in clubs and research. Getting involved was the best decision I ever made. I was committed to many things, always busy, and enjoyed every moment. It doesn’t hurt that sports are fun there. The opportunities are endless, and if you reach out and make an effort you will enjoy your time. I even worked for the university for a year at the Medical Center before going back to graduate school now!

                              Graduate Student: My 3 years as an undergrad at the University of Pittsburgh have provided me with life experiences that I will never forget and have become the best years of my life.                                 Graduate Student: I pursued pharmaceutical sciences as my major at UCI and it was probably one of the best choices I've ever made. Not only was I able to take courses pertinent for pharmacy, I was also able to build connections with faculty and make long-lasting friendships with the people who support me and my dreams. I believe that college should be a learning experience for students to grow and mature independently and UCI definitely does that.

                                    Graduate Student: I would like to see professors become more student centered verses them having their own agenda. They are instructors and need to learn how to teach what they are experts in. Other items I would change would be the parking at Iowa. Its cheaper to park in Chicago than it is to park in Iowa City. The city has a napoleon complex and pretends to be this "culturally unbiased" institution in which you see the dark sides of a ultra conservative state lay root in the very Pentacrest that this institution prides itself. Other than that...good party school, go hawks.

                                      Graduate Student: Rutgers University provides a wonderful and colorful community. It brings both a sense of familiarity and a wonderful opportunity to meet a wide variety of people. The campus itself is extremely expansive and gives both students and faculty a way to visit different environments; each of the 4 campuses have their own personality, flavor, and style. The institution's academia is interdisciplinary and well-renowned for its outreach and research.
                                      The main thing I would like to see change in this university is improved housing for students. Rutgers enroll way too many students that the housing (and parking) situation is oversaturated.

                                          Graduate Student: Washington State University is a beautiful campus. The rolling hills might be difficult to adjust to for someone from a flatter city or town, but it has its charm. The university has a great atmosphere and numerous dining options throughout the area. Ferdinand's has some delicious ice cream and cheese! I don't like the parking situation though. Prices are high, good permits are few, and on certain football weekends, you aren't allowed to park in your lot on Fridays. I fell in love with the veterinary campus when I toured a few years ago and now have the honor of being a Cougar and a vet student here. If there’s nothing going on around town, Moscow, Idaho is just a short drive away.

                                            Graduate Student: If you are looking for a diverse campus that offers wonderful programs administered by gifted professors, then the University of South Florida is right for you. The main campus of USF, is located right in the middle of Tampa, Florida. It is surrounded by fine dining, theme parks, a lively downtown, and beautiful beaches. My time at USF has always been a pleasure, and I have been fortunate enough to meet and study beside some of the most gifted individuals. My favorite part of USF is the staff because they are always readily available to help you with anything and everything. They truly have made my experience AT USF an easy one!

                                                Graduate Student: I liked all of my courses and my professors were true professionals. Student life was varied with tons of activities. The mountains are literally right next to the university and the opportunity for skiing and snowboarding is incredible. There is a lot of bureaucracy and the cost of tuition continues to increase. And since the university joined the PAC-12 for football, a lot of this administrative bloat continues as the expense of learning and professors. More adjuncts are teaching more classes for less money.

                                                  Graduate Student: A lot of opportunities to tap into and even though the student population is diverse, I hardly found anybody I can relate to in my college. It is possible the diversity will be seen in other majors but as a bioengineering grad student, I am the only one of my kind in grad school. It makes somewhat hard to make friends because relating to people who have a totally different background from you is not that easy.

                                                    Graduate Student: My professors are absolutely committed to my success not only at Binghamton, but in my post-graduate endeavors. They are always available when I need academic and personal guidance. The English department staff is friendly, efficient, and always helpful; no unnecessary running around!
