College of Medicine - University of Illinois at Chicago
Doctoral Student: All of the faculty and Deans are approachable and have open door policies for any concern, whether it is academic or personal. Additionally, a lot of emphasis is put on the patient population directly surrounding the school which helps students go beyond the stereotypical cases presented in STEP and actually learn how to treat all patients as opposed to only the most common. The only thing that could make this school better is if they had more money for scholarships and improved facilities. Regardless, I do not think that impacts your education in any noticeable way.
