Graduate Student: I'm in my second year as a grad student at UW-Madison. It's great! I really like it! The university overall is extremely research based, which is not for everybody. I do think that the incredible reputation of this university is mostly built on alumni relations, rather than actual academic quality. Madison is a fantastic place, the campus is beautiful, and State Street leading up to the capitol are iconic.

Alum: This university consistently ranks in the top 3 of the Wisconsin public school system universities. The academics are top-of-the-line every year, ESPECIALLY in the health sciences. On top of that the, the school is surrounded by the most beautiful landscape with limitless recreational opportunities. The faculty/student ration is very beneficial because the class size is generally around 30 students, meaning that professors and students get to form genuine relationships that are invaluable in terms of excelling in any given field. I HIGHLY recommend attending this school if you want to get a revered education and live near plenty of entertainment possibilities.

Graduate Student: UW Eau Claire is a very liberal arts school that focuses highly on diversity and acceptance of all people whether it is gender, sexual orientation, race, religious beliefs and so on. The university strongly encourages all students to speak their minds and make the best that they can out of everything that they are given. There are a few individuals in administration that have been problematic in the last few years, but are fortunately on their way out. I'm excited to see what the new image of admin looks like!
There are a plethora of resources and activities that are available to UWEC students both on and off campus. Eau Claire is a city that likes to make a fit for everyone!

Graduate Student: This is my first year as a Graduate Student at Concordia. The location of the Campus is amazing and it is actually making up for all other things.

Housing is excellent, though, all students pay the same amount for on-campus Housing however I think this should be changed as this is illogic.

Graduate Student: The professors here are absolutely amazing and the opportunities are endless. I had the opportunity to volunteer, attend student meetings, travel abroad, etc. The campus is well sized and only takes about 15 minutes to walk from one end to another. I always felt very safe there.

Graduate Student: The professors are interesting, fair, and brilliant. I also love the Franciscan atmosphere. There are Franciscan-oriented extracurricular programs and beautiful artwork of St. Francis of Assisi. The Franciscan spirit is tangible on this campus, and I truly appreciate this. The coursework is challenging and brings enlightenment and much growth. The campus has a very diverse population and is a true representation of Milwaukee and our surrounding communities. The campus is easy to navigate and parking is ample at any time of day or night. It is a campus that feels safe; it's quiet, conducive to contemplation, conversation, and study.

I had one that, every day before starting class, displayed job opportunities and internships he would be willing to help you get. The coursework is challenging, but doable, and the college offers a lot of tutoring opportunities.
