Graduate Student: My experience at Temple University’s College of Education has overall been a positive one. Though there has been trials and tribulations, I’m thankful for the opportunities Temple has given me. Without Temple, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I don’t believe I would be making the same impact that I’m making now. There is still so much more I wish to accomplish and will accomplish. What I would change about the College of Education is a few things. One: the advising must get better. The lack of overall communication and lack of compassion from the advisors in the past has been discouraging (and a major reason I’m doing what I do today). Two: there aren’t many alternatives that were offered for teaching, and those paths that could be offered were very poorly outlined and advertised. These two tie together.... Read 1 review

Niche User: As a full time student, attending University of La Verne has been quite the experience. The campus is beautiful and the food is somewhat decent. They have many helpful and accurate resources for students to utilize throughout the school year. However, La Verne isn't perfect (just like any school isn't) and it has its down sides, such as costly on- campus living, costly tuition, and a few more. Overall, La Verne is a great school IF you have a full ride and/or huge scholarship to attend the school.... Read 47 reviews

Doctoral Student: What I love most about my experience at the School of Health Studies and Education at Saint Joseph's University is the collegial and inclusive learning environment. As a doctoral student, I am a member of a cohort model, which consists of 31 individuals who are all working toward the Ed.D in Educational Leadership. We support one another and work together so that we can all realize our goals and reach the finish line! The professors are supportive and they are a plethora of resources available to promote student success. I want to work and collaborate with my colleagues and professors in person instead of via Zoom calls in order to make a personal, face-to-face connection. That is the one thing I would like to change. Hopefully, Covid-19 will be resolved by Spring, 2021.... Read 2 reviews

Alum: I really liked the flexibility of my online Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Literacy through Wilkes and NIPP. I could do the weekly chats and mini assignments weeknights throughout the week and then delve into the longer papers each weekend. I feel I’m a much better teacher in reading because of my degree. It was a very practical, useful, and interesting course of study.... Read 3 reviews

Junior: I love this school so much. The staff are all very welcoming and kind, and everyone you meet on campus is extremely friendly. I would've given five stars if the financial aid office didn't charge us for every little thing - I locked myself out of my room once and had to pay a five dollar fee. I didn't have any other way to get back into my room so I found this very annoying.... Read 1 review

Doctoral Student: I love this college. I’m in grad school at Saint Vincent’s and have an overwhelming amount of support from faculty and staff. College staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I love the overalls “family” type of environment the university offers. I went to a large, Big Ten university for my undergraduate degree. I wouldn’t trade my experience there for anything, but sometimes you can get lost in the crowd. It’s a breath of fresh air going to a much smaller school and being able to interact with your professors and staff more personally. There’s also a lot of support the faculty and other students offer like organizing mentoring, study groups, and other assistance needed to name a few. Overall great experience so far.... La Salle University•
Niche User: To start, I love the trees and greenery on the campus. It is like a big park! The school is small so it is easier to speak with professors and connect with others. People at La Salle are fairly friendly and easy to get along with. My complaint about La Salle would be that the communications building is very old and not up to date at all. The university praises the business building and the students who are business majors. It highlights that so much that it feels like other majors are less important. There is definitely a difference. After I claimed Business as my minor, it was obvious that business staff and the school favored the business school. It sometimes makes me wish I decided to just major in both, but I enjoy communications and the communications staff more.... Read 2 reviews

Graduate Student: I loved my experience at Bloomsburg University. It was the university where both of my parents went, so it was special that I went there as well. I went for my BS in Early Childhood Education, and had a wonderful experience. All of my professors in the Education Department truly cared about their students. They went above and beyond for their students, and created great relationships that lasted after graduation. It was a challenging program, and it is known for being one of the best programs in the state system. I loved Bloomsburg so much that I am going back for my Child Life Specialist Certification at Bloomsburg University. The only thing I wished that was different was that there was more parking spots for commuters.... Read 14 reviews

Alum: Best thing about the program I was enrolled in was that it was only 3 semesters long. However, many professors were not kind to transfer students from outside thebSRU undergrad community. Additionally, certain exams for particular courses could not be reviewed and the only way you could see your score was by mailing a self addressed stamped envelope to the professor so that you could receive a hand written note with your score on it. I hope that this program comes out of the stone age soon.... Read 4 reviews

Graduate Student: Widener is a great school overall. I did my undergrad here and continued on to graduate school. Undergrad programs have great financial support, but grad programs are outrageously expensive with little to no opportunity for assistance outside of loans. The staff and professors are some of the best in their fields. The campus is nice, clean, and safe. Off-campus housing is affordable and there are some really nice places. Security patrols the neighborhood, but there are some safety concerns. However, I never really felt unsafe. Overall a great school and experience and I’ve loved my time here!... Read 6 reviews

Niche User: I will be attending Spring 2023. However, I have heard nothing but the best news coming from this university. My fiancée's cousin is a current student and he loves the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff and other students. Food is delicious and there are plenty of restaurants on and off campus. As for the world campus which I will be attending... It is one of the best rated online engineering programs in the US. Courses are Asynchronous, so you can essentially take courses at any given time and at your own pace. Master's Student: My experience at Brandman University has been incredibly deserving. I highly recommend Brandman University because of their loyal staff and the school’s determination for their students to excel. Brandman University is the reason why I’ve immensely grown. After graduating with a BA from Brandman, I decided to go back to Brandman to peruse a MA in School Psychology. This was a critical decision for me to make as my health was progressing. Having Rheumatoid Arthritis and deciding to go back to school was very difficult. I am fortunate for my school counselor and professors because they’ve assured me they are here every step of the way. Brandman University Professor’s treat students as human beings instead of the broad term of “student”. I’ve never felt so attached to a school before because I was the person who was unmotivated at first. Brandman University picked me up on my feet and ever since then, I can’t stop moving forward....
