Works Here: Beautiful campus and lovely small-city culture with tons of fun activities and things to do. Wonderful amenities for students and employees. Great fitness centers and programs. Awesome healthcare for employees and students. I have both gone to school and worked full-time at the University of Iowa, and it is truly one of the best places to attend/work in the Midwest. The Iowa City area is inclusive, diverse, and full of intelligent and friendly people. I honestly wouldn't live anywhere else in Iowa.

Graduate Student: The faculty at Drake School of Education is unparalleled. The facilities are state of the art. The campus is beautiful.
I got my master's degree at Drake and didn't even consider other schools for my PhD. I had such an amazing experience at Drake then and I am having an even better experience there now!

Graduate Student: I feel very loved in my program, supported by the college, and I have a myriad of resources. My one complaint is not related to the graduate college itself, but rather UNI as a whole. The campus climate can be boring and disconnected. But as a busy graduate student, that doesn’t affect my studies or experience too much!

Senior: Buena Vista University is very convenient for working adults! The school and educators provide a great education for on and off campus students alike. They provide great support for their students as well by checking in with student progress and personally checking in when they see trouble.
