Graduate Student: Loved the diversity and inclusion at this University! This is one of the most diverse college campuses in the United States and promotes inclusiveness and tolerance among students and faculty members. Great urban campus in the heart of the financial district of Newark. There is new construction happening all the time and there are great spots for coffee, lunch, dinner, as well as night life. Rutgers provides renowned education for its students and most professors deeply care about their students. There is an issue with parking on campus, but I hope that will be rectified soon.

Graduate Student: The classroom sizes are great and easy to communicate with professors. Everything the students need is right on Campus, including the athletic center, with all new gym equipment and exercise classes. The library is big enough where one area you can socialize the other is for quiet study. There is also a shuttle service that can take you around the area in the town from early morning, to late evening. There are restaurants, parks, and shops around campus to visit. The campus is also located at a close distance to NYC and the NJ transit.

Graduate Student: I love my program and my department, however dealing with administration outside in other departments has been extremely frustrating. First, they wait entirely too long to distribute financial aid. Were talking WEEKS after the drop deadline. And even though financial aid knows you're paying your tuition through aid, they will still put a hold on your account. It makes no sense!

Getting help from anyone is also frustrating. The methods to simply change your address is archaic in itself. But my program is wonderful and to me, the program is simply a diamond in the rough.

Graduate Student: I received my Undergrad from Rider, I am going back fall of 2018 for my MBA. The Advisors are very supportive and I believe give great advice and positive direction for a clear path to career goals. I think the cost is in line with pretty much any University in NJ. In anycase the cost is worth the price of admission for a great education!

Centenary College - New Jersey

Graduate Student: Centenary University offers an excellent Clinical Counseling Graduate program. The entire school is friendly and the Dean of Students is fabulous. The school is located in Hackettstown and is local to Hackettstown train stop/station, which connects to the various train lines to get into the Morristown area, Seacaucus, NY, Newark etc. It is a wonderfully run school counseling/clinical/ and a dual program. The grad. professors in this department specifically are fantastic and are wonderful, experienced professionals in the human services or counseling industry who are also very well respected. It is a rigorous program with requirements and you must maintain a grade point average of 3.00 or above to remain in the program.Well worth it and definitely a great graduate degree program. Get your MBA in 14 months if you're in the business corporate field.

Graduate Student: This is one of few relatively "affordable" Grad schools left in NJ. And this school is designed for those who are currently working full-time, and offers multiple Online Only programs. Most other public or state colleges in NJ costs have skyrocketed over the last 10 years, and there are too many hurdles (including really high costs for application) for new students to apply to some of them. This institution is one of the few left in NJ that understands the needs of working adults with families, and also keeps the costs as bearable as possible.
