    Graduate Student: The homework, texts, and projects all have been very helpful in learning the material to be on exams, the objectives of the classes are clear and educational material has been exciting to learn. The professors are great with communication and classmates have been helpful in the learning experience as well. Not to go without mention, awesome vip student seating at USC football games!

      Graduate Student: So far, this school has been a million times better than the school I went to for my undergraduate degree! Even getting my education online, the school has provided me with so many resources and lectures that I can attend virtually. I never thought online school would be like this. I wish I had this much support, aid, and resources at my previous school.

        Graduate Student: Loma Linda is a private educational institution that is Seventh Day Adventist. Church is required for all students but it is not a place of discouragement. The teachers, administrators, etc all have one goal which is focused on patient care and their motto "To Make Man Whole." The food is decent, it is vegetarian so it limits the types of food allowed. Loma Linda University is in the heart of the Blue Zone and encourages health employees and students.

          Graduate Student: Occupational Therapy Master's Blended Program has been a fantastic experience. The teachers do set high expectations for us while understanding that we don't have the same timeframe to practice as the residentials do.

          The only issue we ran into is ProctorU. ProctorU is where we take our online exams, and the problem that we have frequently run into is the amount of time that it takes to set up on the computer (the proctors watch via screen sharing). The set up can take between 15 minutes to 1 hour. If you plan on working while going to school, be sure to take a day off for the exams. If it's not possible to do so, definitely talk to your boss if you can come in late or leave early.

          Last piece of advice: review your syllabi to see the dates of exams. If you see any same-day exams, email your teachers ASAP to get them rescheduled. We didn't do that and that caused us to take two exams on the same day. Most of us work so that day was rough.

            Graduate Student: CSU Dominguez Hills is a great college. In the South Bay area, it is not as popular as CSU Long Beach. That may be due to the size of the campus. It may also be due to the campus infrastructure being "out of date" compared to other campuses. However, what I have found is that CSU Dominguez Hills is indeed a hidden gem! It goes to show that beauty really is beyond what meets the eye. It is the campus staff, professors, and administration that are focused on ensuring student's needs are being met. Due to the campus not being impacted, there really is an opportunity to build a connection with your professors. Never did I feel like "just another student". My professors knew me by name, and cared about my overall well-being. Interestingly, it is a campus mostly made up of minorities. I think that is the beauty of this school. It really does offer educational opportunities to people who are really trying to make a difference within their communities!
