    Niche User: What I loved about the school was the campus, right in the heart of Portland, beautiful buildings surround the campus. From the gym that is there it makes me want to work out, to their court yard and the chapel that makes me want to study. I would say my religion is catholic based but I wouldn't go to school for religion purposes, I enjoy the the bell ringing from the chapel on campus. If you don't believe much into the catholic faith one thing to consider is you need 3 theology classes to obtain a degree from UOP. But I myself wouldn't mind that.

      Graduate Student: I appreciated the visit day that allowed accepted graduate students to meet with fellow hopefuls, professors, administrative staff and students to get a better understanding of the college, expectations, and fit. I connected with some student who were instrumental in how I approached my class work and how I was successful in those ventures. This will also provide networking opportunities when I look for work. I find that I am a lot less stressed than my fellow classmates because I prepared well for my academics on the wisdom garnered from these connections. I appreciate the professors and feel like academically I made the right decision coming here.

        Graduate Student: I attended Portland State University for graduate school. I cannot comment in the student housing because I lived off campus. I cannot comment on the athletics because I really was not involved in that capacity. Lastly, I cannot comment on campus food or student life. I DID love the academic environment. I earned a M.S. in Education and I found that my professors were great and my fellow students were diverse and intelligent. The campus is beautiful. The Saturday Portland Farmer's Market is located right by the PSU campus. Portland, OR is not the safest city so safety was that of a large city. It is an urban campus. I really loved PSU! I did not party "on campus" much but I lived in the Pearl District in Portland and there is a ton to do in Portland.

          Graduate Student: My experience is with the University of Hartford's Master's Nursing Education Program. It has smaller class sizes and is convenient for the adult learner. I feel that the program is helpful with ensuring success for their students.
