      Graduate Student: This university is beautiful, diverse, and accepting. It is a private Catholic school, yet they are very open and accepting of all walks of life including other religious backgrounds, the LGBTQI community, etc. The nursing school is extremely welcoming and accommodating, and work with the students to help them succeed versus "weeding out the weak" like some programs do. The only downside is it is very expensive to attend.

        Alum: I went to National for my Preliminary Administrative Services Credential. The process was completely painless to apply and get started with my courses. I started in August of 2018 and was finished by March of 2019-and by June I had a job! I enjoyed the ability to do my work online from wherever I was as a working professional and full time mother of a child with a disability that requires significant micromanaging. My professors and peers were easy to work with and responsive, and the program lent itself well to my learning style. I am considering going back for the Clear Credential program as well.

          Junior: This is a good school. Good and bad teachers, but overall, I like SDSU.Parking is expensive and hard at times. Campus is beautiful and nice to walk around and study. Some professors care alot and some really shouldnt be there. Overall I am happy with my school choice... love this school! lots of opportunities both socially and educationally. You just have to put yourself out there bc it is a big school and is it easy to get a little overwhelmed at times. If I would like to see changes at this school it would be reduce the prices of parking lots.also, I would like to see changes in the book prices, they are so expensive too.

            Graduate Student: The quality of education at CSUSM is superb. With small class sizes, students have excellent opportunities to learn and network in the classroom and on campus. The library is (I believe) the largest library in the CSU system, with knowledgeable subject librarians and access to a multitude of databases. Parking is VERY expensive; a little over $300 per semester. The food options aren't great, aren't cheap, and aren't very available, the university seems to think that people only eat between 11-3. Bring food with you, or at least snacks that can hold you over. CSUSM is playfully known as Cal State Stairmaster, wear comfortable shoes on campus, you'll get a good work out every day you're there!
