Master's Student: I recommend Rivier University for online learning. Overall, it was a great experience. The professors care about your success. The courses were challenging but I learned a lot. I am glad I enrolled in the FNP program online. It was a great way to enroll as a part time student while working at the same time. Every week in each class you do a discussion board where you interact with your classmates. You respond to each others posts weekly. Canvas was challenging at first if you haven’t done online classes before but I quickly got the hang of it. The program was affordable compared to others, which was a motivator. A lot of my co-workers also attend Rivier. My co-workers have similar reviews and viewpoints. One thing that is challenging though is that you have to find your own clinicals. I think this is the most difficult and negative part of the program. Overall, I would recommend it to other prospective graduate students. It is a great program and prepares you for your future.
