Current Master's student: The Graduate Social Work Program mostly focuses on preparing students for the real challenges and realities that Social Workers face. I, as a licenced social worker, already live one of these realities. The program also focuses of what can be achieved from an individual, group, community, research and administrative perspectives. One of the main points the program teaches the students is how to create your theoretical knowledge and how to use it in the field. Social work is best known for its field experience but also for it's theories and research models and results. What i do believe we can improve from the school is branch out and create more specialties in the program. This is with the purpose of creating more diversity and preparing more equipped profesional social workers in a program that's accessible for everyone.... Read 18 reviews

Graduate Student: I totally enjoyed the experience here at NUC (although getting in contact with the right dept was sometimes frustrating). The courses were challenging and the professors top-notch. They guide you through the entire process, from application through graduation. The people are genuine and truly committed to helping you succeed. I dedicated pretty much every weekend to complete the work and have no regrets about it. I know it is a top-quality online educational experience. You must be ready to commit long hours to fulfilling the work, but if you do so, the rewards are immensely satisfying. Kudos on a job well-done! Highly recommended!... Read 4 reviews

Master's Student: My experience here was untraditional due to attending during pandemic, and coming from the mainland with my minimal Spanish skills to study. However many of my peers and professors helped me get through things. I will say that the administration here is very disorganized and that there are some professors who are every difficult and unclear.
