Current Master's student: The Rehabilitation Counseling Master's Degree is a CACREP accreditted program that prepares us to work for and with people with disabilities. The professors are very welcoming and full of knowledge; they are ready to deposit all that knowledge and experience in us. The facilities are comfortable and accessible. The preparation I'm receiving gives me the confidence to know that all of us that graduate from this program will be some of the best professionals in the field of Rehabilitation Counseling. We take classes like Case Management, Multicultural Aspects of Counseling, Medical and Psychiatric Aspects of Rehabilitation, Human Development for people with disabilities, Job Placement, Functional Capacity Diagnosis, Career Counseling for people with disabilities, among others. We also have elective courses like Assistive Technology, Counseling for Victims of Domestic Violence, Reasonable Accomodations, and others.
