Master's Student: I found my fellow Kellogg mates to be driven, engaged professionally and socially, enthusiastic and curious learners and upon graduating, strongly felt we made a great choice. Evanston is what most of us really wanted, a great school, crazy good campus and (now) new facilities within a hop to a world class city and from a B school standpoint, big time career opportunities. In fact, my first post grad gig had me remaining in the Chi with a very well known boutique investment bank ... fixed income. From CT, figured Manhattan was my sure destination. Chi led to San Fran thanks to my Chicago firm that hired me. I've achieved a lot in 7 years and work globally in finance. I'm convinced Kellogg is a big reason why. This from a kid that only thought of an MBA from Harvard, Yale or Wharton. Bravo Wildcats!... Read 15 reviews

Master's Student: All the basic elements of a business school were fantastic. This includes the classes, the career center, the facilities, the location, and the plethora of activities (career & fun) available at the school. If you go here, you won't be disappointed with any of the essentials. MBA students mostly go to school to get a job, and Booth does not disappoint. I will point out, however, location matters a little bit here. If you want to live in Chicago Booth is great. If not somewhere else may be slightly easier. Why only four out of five stars? Well, the student life wasn't always perfect. There's no cohort system like other schools so its easy to get overwhelmed by the mass of people. Having grown up in Chicago, it was honestly easier to go back to the friends I had before than sort through 600 folks. And, while I was looking for an intellectual culture, it was a bit disappointing there too. Political views were uniform, and folks generally weren't intellectually curious beyond career.... Current Master's student: I am a current Master's student at Benedictine through their online platform. The program has been such a wonderful addition to my life. There was an ease and a peace that came with beginning as a student while working full-time, which seems counter-intuitive. They did a wonderful job organizing the programs to be flexible with my current lifestyle and the professors are always understanding when life gets in the way. This program takes a direct course to prepare individuals to enter the profession of Social Work Ready to make a change in the communities and environments they serve. This program teaches professional and personal responsibility within the profession. This program takes a direct look at creating healthy boundaries and reducing the effects of burnout on professionals since the field of Social Work can deal with serious difficult topics. Alum: I earned a Master's Degree from this institution. The college offered classes on the main campus, downtown Chicago, Chicago Heights, and also via Zoom. They bend over backwards to make classes available to people who are in the workforce and who must balance work, school, and life. The instructors are top notch and many are active in the fields in which they teach. The institution also works with the student to obtain financial aid be it scholarships, grants, etc. They want you to succeed. I am proud to be an alumnus of Calumet College of St. Joseph.... Alum: My academic experience at DeVry, has been amazing so far. I fell in love with DeVry school of Management during my graduate career while completing my Master's. My honest opinion from DeVry completely changed the way, I would look at the UC system, as I am an alumn as well. I can completely say, I was surprised the care of the staff and the help they offer to their students. I would receive check up calls from my advisors and it made an difference in my educational and professional journey. When I gradutated from UC Santa Cruz, I had a 2.59 grade point average, after my career at DeVry, my life turned around and so did my perspective of the education system in the UC's. At one point I even thought I was stupid and I would never have the opportunity to accomplish my Master's degree, the UC system made me feel like I was meant to fail but with DeVry, I realized my full potential and I am returning to complete a post graduate certificate and continue my education in Human Resources.... The course work is challenging but is always relevant to what is happening in the business world. I have never been on the campus in Illinois. I have been taking 1 class at a time and will complete the MBA in June 2022. My experience has been very good, the admissions people walk you through the application process. Overall, a very good experience with professors from the business field they are teaching.
