Doctoral Student: What I love most about my experience at the School of Health Studies and Education at Saint Joseph's University is the collegial and inclusive learning environment. As a doctoral student, I am a member of a cohort model, which consists of 31 individuals who are all working toward the Ed.D in Educational Leadership. We support one another and work together so that we can all realize our goals and reach the finish line! The professors are supportive and they are a plethora of resources available to promote student success. I want to work and collaborate with my colleagues and professors in person instead of via Zoom calls in order to make a personal, face-to-face connection. That is the one thing I would like to change. Hopefully, Covid-19 will be resolved by Spring, 2021.

Graduate Student: Widener is a great school overall. I did my undergrad here and continued on to graduate school. Undergrad programs have great financial support, but grad programs are outrageously expensive with little to no opportunity for assistance outside of loans. The staff and professors are some of the best in their fields. The campus is nice, clean, and safe. Off-campus housing is affordable and there are some really nice places. Security patrols the neighborhood, but there are some safety concerns. However, I never really felt unsafe. Overall a great school and experience and I’ve loved my time here!
