Master's Student: I really enjoyed my time at Sanford School of Public Policy. I liked that the class size was small. It allowed me to connect and get to know a lot of my classmates very well. It also meant that I could form great relationships with the teaching staff as well. ...I also loved our building and the whole scene at Duke. I loved that there was a bus that could pick students up for free after 7 pm and drop them at their apartment if it was close enough to campus. There was also a free bus that I used every day back and forth to school. ...It was also really exciting to be in a school that took sports very seriously and did great in sports especially in Basketball. The energy on campus was always so electrifying when Duke and UNC met at the Cameron Stadium. It was so great to be about 4 hours away from Washington D.C. where a lot of my family and friends live at...Read 2 Reviews

Master's Student: What I like most about Johns Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Sciences is the presence of professionalism and genuine consciousness. Not only are the classes highly interesting and inclusive but also they are conveniently laid out so no matter where you are in the world you can complete your degree on your own time. All the classes are provided asynchronously so no 3:00am wake ups for lecture. Professors are organized and available with plenty of opportunity to connect with fellow students. This is only my first semester but I am feeling very confident in my commitment to Johns Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Sciences Advanced Academics Program...Read 10 Reviews

Alum: Cal Poly's motto is "Learn by doing," and I saw this in action in all of my classes as I worked toward my undergraduate degree. I was studying Child Development, so it was interesting to be learning about effective teaching techniques whilst simultaneously seeing those same techniques being actively employed in all of my classes. I was so fond of this philosophy that I decided I would apply to Cal Poly for Graduate programs as well. I am excited to continue to learn by doing as I work toward my Master's degree in Psychology...Read 13 Reviews
