Master's Student: The faculty and staff are very friendly and helpful at UW. As a new student in the Foster School Business, I was overwhelmed when I first started classes, however it's been easy to find the resources that I need. The majority of students are either international or in-state, so students either live by school or 20 mins from school. I highly recommend joining an in-school club to meet people outside of your major. The only complain I have about UW is their limited number of latin people. Most students are either Indian, Asian, or White.... Read 96 reviews

Master's Student: I'm a 3rd year graduate student at WSU, and it has been a life-changing experience. It has its ups and downs, but the challenge will hopefully make the results worth it. I have been lucky to have a great cohort, and some excellent faculty to work with. It is a really pretty campus at the top of College Hill. There is a public transit system if you don't have a car and don't want to bike or walk. You'll get great exercise walking in the Palouse!... Read 47 reviews

Master's Student: I am really glad that I chose Gonzaga for my graduate nursing education. The hybrid format of online coursework with on-campus immersions and local clinical rotations allowed me to balance my schooling, home life, and continue working part time. The school adapted well to the COVID-19 pandemic as it already had a well established online curriculum. Although I am an advocate of online learning and work well with the format, I feel having earned a degree from an actual brick and mortal school with a sound reputation was worth the cost.... Master's Student: Whitworth prioritizes their students. Small class sizes, available and friendly staff. At the graduate level, there is a bit of communication lacking as far as "introduction to campus" - would appreciate a brief tutorial with tips (gym membership included, ID card is a bus pass, etc). Overall, a beautiful school with beautifully kind people!... Read 7 reviews

Master's Student: I completed the Graduate Certificate in Computer Science Fundamentals in June of 2020 and will be starting the graduate program for MS in CS with a specialization in Software Engineering. The program was amazing from the summer bootcamp to the full program. It allowed me to work full time while developing the baseline skills I needed to be prepared for the graduate program. I will be going to grad school full time and I feel completely ready and know I have the support from faculty, the department and classmates. I also know, if there were a need to switch from onsite to virtual, SU can easily migrate to it, as they have a robust system in place for virtual learning that made doing the program during the pandemic easier to manage!... Doctoral Student: This school is incredibly expensive and offers very little financial assistance. The faculty, however, are absolutely incredible. I trust I am receiving top-notch quality education. I feel academically, emotionally, and communally supported by the faculty here. Small class sizes allows for individualized attention from professors. I truly love my teachers! Master's Student: I would like in person classes but that is not the university fault, it is a COVID issue. They have many different options for people to look into. There are resources that are easy and manageable. I enjoy the lay out of the campus and that you get a YMCA membership with admissions. It is a little expensive but for all the perks you get it is OK. I like that they make it easy for you to find and apply for scholarships. One thing I have been a bit 'annoyed' with, is the response time of the financial aid and really other departments lately. They are suspended all calls, so if you need to reach someone you have to email them, but I haven't really been getting any responses back, which is frustrating. I do understand given the circumstances that people are not in the office, but it would still be nice to revive a response back when you are trying to find out information, or even responding to a question that was asked of youThe vaccines are also a pain in , I understand it is important... Niche User: I arrived to this school in Winter, 2020. It was located about 45 minutes from my home, so I was very nervous about commuting that far every day. However, the school was incredible. Not only was the campus gorgeous and conveniently placed, the faculty was very friendly and surprisingly engaging with the students. When Covid hit the states, everyone was grounded inside, and classes switched to online. I have to say, the teachers did a very well job of figuring out how to manage online classes and make the experience great for the students. The councilors and advisors were extra attentive and responded to emails and meetings very fast. All this made my university experience incredibly pleasant!... Read 10 reviews

Doctoral Student: Working with Graduate Admissions has been a DREAM. I'm in the first cohort for the Ph.D. program, and they've been instrumental to my success! Even STILL today, Chantelle Petrone Marker & her team have been AMAZING!! They're responsive & supportive - ESPECIALLY as a first-generation, Black student getting a terminal degree! Despite being a relatively diverse university, with between 40-50% students of color consistently, the administration is INEPT at supporting students of color. In near-constant racist, anti-Black issues and they manage POORLY at best, which is NEVER acceptable, but ESPECIALLY in this racially charged climate. There isn't much intention held around including grad students in the overall college experience (especially for us as Ph.D. students). We are regularly an afterthought, at best, for critical elements of the Saint Martin's experience, like additional financial aid provided by the university, event scheduling, and campus-wide student engagement efforts.... Master's Student: I feel that the professors are great with communicating to the class and even the students. Not only in the classroom environment, whether it be in person or via Zoom, but the are effective at replying back to the students outside of the class via emails. They are there for the students and overall, the scene/environment on campus is different than other colleges. Great student community and the interactions we have with the professors/faculty is great each and every day. Wouldn't want to be at any other University to continue my education.... Read 58 reviews

Alum: Completing the Masters in Teaching (K-8 & SPED) at City U of Seattle was an experience to remember! Graduate Student: I always knew I wanted to go to medical school, but when the time I felt uneasy about entering into the western medical world. When it came down to my education and what kind of physician I want to be, I had to make sure that I was at a school that taught and represented what I believe in, practicing healing and medicine in a way that honors and utilities natural remedies and is backed by science and study of historical healing practices. Bastyr was the right place for me to pursue medicine in a different way, a way that I feel good about. I made the right choice attending Bastyr!... Read 13 reviews

Graduate Student: Antioch University Seattle sets high standards for adult, academic learning. It champions diversity and experiential learning, and social justice. Antioch University Seattle presents a mission of providing their students self spaces to learn and be challenged in all scopes of life from academic rigor, introspection, ethics, and social justice. They provide an exception grading system and programming that encourages personal growth and focuses on student successes, rather than impersonal letter grades and punitive systems.
