Alum: Nova is a really great school in terms of academics, and I felt strongly supported by my professors, especially my faculty advisor and dissertation chair. I left Nova feeling at the top of my game. However, it is an expensive school, and while they have begun providing more financial aid options, it can still be pricey. Other than that, it’s a great school!

Graduate Student: I started out in the summer of 2013 at FIU as an undergraduate. First as an exploratory major, then chemistry major and finally finding my place in criminal justice. I grew up a lot during my time here. Finding lifelong friends and memories along the way. While completing my undergraduate studies, I found myself interested in the field of national security as it pertains to the United States of America. My interest began while receiving my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and listening to current events involving various national security and criminal justice issues facing America today.

When I decided to continue my studies, I chose to complete my Master’s Degree in Global Affairs with a specialty track in International Crime and Justice.

Graduate Student: If you're someone who wants to experience going to a larger university then this is the place for you! FAU has over 30,000 students and is able to comfortably accommodate these students with parking and food choices. There is a very large clean library where you can easily find a cozy quiet nook to do your studying in. Overall, the campus is generally very clean and has a lot of interesting animals roaming it like raccoons, iguanas, ducks, and cats! You won't regret spending your undergrade, or even graduate years at FAU!

Freshman: I have not started my courses towards an MBA at Keiser just yet. However, the enrollment process has already been outstanding. My course and financial advisers have really helped me determine whether the MBA is for me! Instead of just reeling me in to apply and receive funding, they made sure that I was comfortable and confident in my decisions, while giving any advice they could.

Graduate Student: St. Thomas is an expensive private school but they work with older students who decide to make career changes. The school is most known for their Law School and Nursing Program. I am a law student. The school offered me scholarships when I initially enrolled and depending on what grades you make after your first year, they reassess your scholarship amounts.

I think that St. Thomas was the best choice for me because it is a small community that looks out for each other. The deans have an open door policy and truly care about your success.

The only cons to the law school are:
Private school tuition
Limited parking
Limited food options
Limited professors (if you get one you don't like, good luck. You may have them again)
You can't control your exam schedule

Graduate Student: The Institute offered me a path to become a medical provider. The school showed me a different way of how the human body is viewed in Oriental Medicine and how it can be treated using Acupuncture, Cupping, Massage, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Moxibustion therapy. Using these modalities to help treat patients where western medicine failed to get results. But, at the same time, the school taught me how to communicate with other medical professions and to work alongside to help each patient recover from their illness.

Graduate Student: TIU is a wonderful school full of friendly students and professors with professional experience in their fields of study. The courses are very flexible with an adult working schedule and the ability to study in a faith based environment adds to a more complete and integrated world-view. The one thing I would like to see change is the size of the Florida campus, which I am sure will change over the years to come.
