Current Doctoral student: The program I am currently enrolled in is an inaugural program at the University. Despite the program being the first of its kind, I am confident it is one that will be extremely successful. From virtual informational sessions to in person meet and greet open houses, the dedication to this program by its faculty has been palpable. It was one of the many reasons I decided to attend this university for my doctoral practice. I am excited to learn and grow at this institution and have been assured that my success here will be attainable. The clinical sites the university offers are extremely diversified, which will undoubtedly contribute to my success in my career moving forward. Current Doctoral student: The EdD Program in Leadership absolutely meets my expectations. The curriculum is vigorous but it is very manageable. So long as you adjust your priorities prior to starting and be willing to sacrifice some personal time for the end reward. Alum: I started off in the business department but made a degree switch to arts and letters after my first year. The process was smooth and easy, and I am so glad I made the switch for a degree that fits me perfectly! Each professor has a different teaching technique, but they equally taught me different ways to perfect my writing and learning skills. Master's Student: For a great theological education that is focused on truth and ordering your life upon the sure foundation of Scripture any student will gain great insight and knowledge. Current Master's student: Absolutely amazing, very supportive faculty and administration. Everyone wants you to succeed, and they provide help through the library and the writing center (ASC). It really helps to prepare you for a life in ministry, especially via their field Ed program. Reflection groups and weekly worship, along with other on and off campus activities helps create a great community. Relatively small class sizes help with good discussions and receiving the help you need from professors. Professors are responsive and helpful, taking the extra time needed if you don’t understand something. The program is well designed and gives you a wide selection of courses both required and elective to meet the needs of the degree. I feel confident when I leave LPTS I will be ready to take on whatever ministry position best fits my calling. I know I will make a difference in the world and their focus on who so ever as well as anti racist work is inspiring and extremely helpful for future work.... Read 1 review
