Alum: Herzing University is a place I call, "home." The entire staff have a genuine concern for every student enrolled. They groomed me from start to finish, ensuring I gained the knowledge needed to become a nurse and become career ready. Jennifer Osburn, my career coach at Herzing, assisted with the development of my resume and role played through the interview processes and questions. The instructors and I have continued our relationships. Thus far, the relationships has made a huge impact on my networking in advancing my career opportunities, for example: I have joined the National Black Nursing Association and was referred to UAB Medical West Hospital for employment, where I currently work. I'm applying for this scholarship to continue my education through the LPN-to-RN accelerated program with Herzing University - Birmingham.
