Current Master's student: My academic experience at Duke has been the most rewarding in my life. What makes Duke so great is the opportunity through the Sanford Policy School to exchange and engage ideas with professors and peers connected to my area of policy analysis. I have gotten the chance through summer internships to have real-world policy experience in analysis and implementation. Because my policy analysis is explicitly based on healthcare, I have focused on black maternal outcomes as my point of reference. I have had the opportunity to work with Professor Carolyn Barnes and collaborate since she is an expert in social and economic welfare and its effects on low-income families. The introductory and intermediate microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistics classes give students a solid technical base when drafting briefs. One thing I would change is to provide more accessibility of recorded lectures when sick after the coronavirus.... Read 4 reviews

Master's Student: Great school with excellent programs. The University of Pennsylvania (Penn or UPenn) is a private Ivy League research university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The university claims a founding date of 1740[note 1] and is one of the nine colonial colleges chartered prior to the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Benjamin Franklin, Penn's founder and first president, advocated an educational program that trained leaders in commerce, government, and public service, similar to a modern liberal arts curriculum.... Master's Student: I found my fellow Kellogg mates to be driven, engaged professionally and socially, enthusiastic and curious learners and upon graduating, strongly felt we made a great choice. Evanston is what most of us really wanted, a great school, crazy good campus and (now) new facilities within a hop to a world class city and from a B school standpoint, big time career opportunities. In fact, my first post grad gig had me remaining in the Chi with a very well known boutique investment bank ... fixed income. From CT, figured Manhattan was my sure destination. Chi led to San Fran thanks to my Chicago firm that hired me. I've achieved a lot in 7 years and work globally in finance. I'm convinced Kellogg is a big reason why. This from a kid that only thought of an MBA from Harvard, Yale or Wharton. Bravo Wildcats!... Read 13 reviews

Alum: I enjoyed my time at the Tepper School. The most positive factors influencing my review were the small class size in the Part-Time Program (meaning that you didn't fight for 1:1 time with your professors [as this is what your tuition should primarily support], and that you really had a chance to become a tight-knit community with your classmates), the quant-heavy curriculum, and the partnerships the TS had with other departments, specifically with respect to product development, the school of public policy, and the various sponsored hackathons & engineering to business bridge programs that span across ALL the Carnegie Mellon schools.... Master's Student: I have loved my experience so far with the Syracuse online MBA program. Classes are offered on different days at different times and professors have proven to be very flexible with workload and scheduling. I love that each class has a live class each week along with online videos to help students understand concepts before going through the online class with the professor. The Syracuse app has also been extremely helpful because it allows students to download course materials directly to their devices, so coursework can be viewed offline, which has been great for traveling and commuting. Syracuse has also provided everyone with resources including tutoring, a weWork membership, networking events, residencies, and more. I was worried I would not meet my peers in an online program, but I have already made networking connections with only two semesters under my belt. I have nothing but positive things to say about the program, it truly has been great!... Read 5 reviews

Other: The Executive Master Business Administration is rigorous and prepares you extremely well for real-world application. Unlike traditional MBA programs, coursework is centered around your current organization, an organization you aspire to work for, or a startup of your own. Coursework is centered around applying what you learn to your real-world situation. Cohorts are small, allowing deeper dives in getting to know everyone, and you are challenged greatly academically. Every term builds on the last, culminating in a final project where all of your course topics are represented in your research and delivery. In my case, my project centered around a new product, business plan with all financials and research, that resulted in my pitching to my company. I highly recommend Pepperdine University's Executive MBA program. My confidence in the school, value of my education, and its worldwide reputation, has led me to also pursue MS in Organizational Development starting in Fall 2023.... Read 33 reviews

Current Master's student: I am currently in the Evening MBA program, and I do enjoy that this particular program is not structured, so you get a choice as to what you want your electives and functional courses to be. These electives and functional courses can let you create a "track" for yourself (such as finances, real estate, law, marketing, etc.) without being constricted to the classes of those specific programs. Also while it is an evening MBA, meaning all your classes are from 6-9pm, you can still be full time or part time, depending on your other commitments and you can change it by semester as well. If you decide to go full time you still pay the same as those that are in the official full time program, but once again you are offered a lot more flexibility than the other programs which I enjoy....
