Doctoral Student: The academics are challenging and the college offers many opportunities to become involved within the school’s academia (mostly through journals, research opportunities, and moot court/trial team competitions with other law schools). Levin provides satisfactory opportunities to become more involved within the school’s academia. The downside is with revolving staff and some missed opportunities from certain teaching areas (Ex: IP work).... Read 3 reviews

Graduate Student: Honestly, attending UM Law has been a dream. The campus is beautiful and has that iconic old Florida charm. The professors are extraordinarily brilliant—nearly all of them being Ivy League graduates. The community is so warm and inviting. I have developed so many connections with professors and peers. The curriculum, while obviously challenging, is taught in a way that helps us students understand the material and be able to apply it to the real world. You can really tell that the UM Law faculty truly wants us to succeed. I could not have picked a more perfect law school to attend!... Read 8 reviews

Doctoral Student: I truly enjoyed my academic experience during my first year at Tulane Law School. It is a rigorous courseload and a lot of time spent studying, but the staff and faculty are fantastic and willing to help you understand and succeed. It initially seems really scary, especially as someone from a smaller undergraduate university. The fears quickly resolved as I realized that you only should be in competition with yourself, not your peers. They are on the same track and you are exactly where you need to be.... Read 5 reviews

Alum: Law school is great. Professors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Very easy to connect with them outside class to review or work through issues. Only negative is the career development staff arent the most helpful. The head of the department is great but the other 3 members are only marginally helpful to those who are not in the top 10% of the class.... Read 1 review

Current Master's student: THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM I MUST SAY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. THE STUDENTS ARE DIVIDED INTO SECTIONS FOR THE GENERAL CLASSES TO PROMOTE MORE TEACHER TO STUDENT RATIO. THE FACULTY IS PRESENT WITH A LOT OF WELL SEASONED PROFESSORS WHO ARE VERY HELPFUL. THE PROFESSORS ARE EASY TO TALK TO AND ENTERTAIN ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. IT IS EVIDENT THAT THEY ARE YEARNING FOR YOU TO SUCEED AND HEAVILY INVESTED IN YOUR OVERALL FULFILLMENT. FLORIDA WEATHER IS ALSO A HAVEN FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AS IT IS NOT TOO COLD NOT TOO HOT. IT MAKES STUDYING MUCH EASIER COMPARED TO SNOW RIDDEN STATES. THE LIBRARY IS WELL STOCKED WITH BOOKS AND PEOPLE ARE GENERALLY HELPFUL. THE STUDENTS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND ARE MORE INVESTED IN BEING THE BEST VERSION OF THEMSELVES THAN IN COMPETITION EITH YOU. THIS MAKES GETTING OUTLINES MUCH EASIER. THERE ARE PROGRAMS ROUND THE CLOCK TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE BEST INFORMATION POSSIBLE. YOU HAVE ACCESS TO MENTORS, CURRENT AND RETIRED JUDGES, PARTNERS AND THE LIKES... Read 7 reviews

Doctoral Student: My favorite part about attending law school at GW are the amazing professors and faculty who are truly so talented and successful and care about students' success. Doctoral Student: I am currently a 1L at the university of Connecticut, School of Law. The best part of this program is that I am able to work during the day and go to school at night. The flexibility allows me to pursue a JD while I work during the day. The teachers are extremely understanding, reasonable, and flexible as they understand my day job will take precedence. The university gives evening division students the ability to be active on campus and make clubs and programs accessible.... Read 1 review

Doctoral Student: I like Sturm's emphasis on experiential learning and well-being. All programs have progress to make towards improving the law school experience, but I found that most administrators and faculty genuinely care about students and want to reform the practice of law. Doctoral Student: Before I had ever applied to the U of O I thought I was going to a different law school, and didn't even have it on my radar. It turns out that U of O law is the only school to offer a specialization in family law in the state. When I went to watch a special state supreme court hearing at the school I was enamored with the place. As a person who uses a walker to get around I appreciated how walkable, and accessible, the campus was! As a newly admitted student I appreciate that every question I have asked has gotten a straightforward answer, and I am not condescended to.... Read 3 reviews

Master's Student: Academics are good. The school has great professors with great teaching techniques. Current Doctoral student: As a 1L, the academic program has recently started a new system. With a smaller class size this year, students are able to get more one on one time with the professors to go over topics discussed in class and midterm exams or final exams from the previous semester.
