Niche User: The School Psychology program is highly competitive to get into because there aren't many spots available. However, if you get accepted, you will find that the faculty and other students are very friendly and supportive. It's clear that everyone wants each other to succeed.
The coursework can be pretty intense, mainly due to the amount assigned--not necessarily the difficulty level (although there are some difficult assignments as well). Most of the coursework consists of reading, doing projects, writing reports and papers, and doing class presentations. There aren't very many exams.
There are multiple assistantships available; however they no longer cover any of the tuition charges. Instead, they offer a $20k stipend, in addition to partial coverage of the student health insurance fee.... Read 4 reviews
