Doctoral Student: The faculty at Notre Dame is excellent. The student to professor ratio makes for a wonderful one to one interaction between students and teachers. At Notre Dame, my interests, dreams, goals, research and career path matter. I loved this most. I feel taken seriously and supported with every possible resources for my mental, academic and career success. One gets many opportunities to grow talents through research, and presentations with helpful and supportive feedback from students and professors. For these reasons, I find it a place to be! On the down side, the weather is at first always a challenge for one who is not used to the harsh and gloomy midwestern winter.... Read 2 reviews

Alum: Ball State Teacher's College gave me great experience prior to going to student teacher. I had eight practicum placements in different local schools and two different student teaching placements in a different town. I had a diverse and well-rounded education with the uniqueness of classes with professors that truly cared about the success of their students. I will be going back for my masters degree and would recommend for anyone wanting to go into the field of education.... Read 5 reviews

Alum: I earned a bachelor's degree in art education. IUPUI has the Herron School of Art. Oh it is a commuting school, the camaraderie and positive atmosphere among students was invigorating. The art Ed program was comprehensive in what to share with students, though it would have been nice to know more about school politics. The art history and art practicum and teaching practicum all left me feeling quite prepared to teach. The school of education had a different atmosphere, but taught us how to teach and train children. The practical classes going into classrooms to observe, ask questions, and eventually to teach or incredibly helpful and very available. My student teaching opportunity was difficult, but truly prepared me for the classroom.... Read 2 reviews

Master's Student: One of my favorite things about my program is how small the class sizes are. It makes it so much easier to connect with your professors and other classmates. I also absolutely love all of the professors because you can tell that they truly care about their students and their future. I haven't had any bad experiences in my program. The only complaint I have is that we have evening classes, but other than that I really enjoy it!... Read 18 reviews

Master's Student: I have been out of school for nearly 30 years and started my master's degree earlier this year. It has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling to be back in school. I have missed it greatly and am learning a great deal that will benefit me in my current career as a manager in a food service operation within the university. Your generous scholarship will make my continued education possible. My husband and I have put our two children through college, and now it is my turn. Thank you for assisting me along this journey!... Read 10 reviews

Current Master's student: Overall the program is easy to manage during the first year, and the program is part-time which makes it very manageable. The second year is more challenging because when you complete your internship, it is a requirement to do three classes, and the internship which can be difficult to balance. Master's Student: My program is Master of Business Administration. The best part about the program is that you are able to apply for multiple jobs rather it’s a bank, business, doctor office, non profit organization, and more. I like that because I don’t want to be confined to one job opportunity. I like to be able to grow in companies and move around as needed. I love learning new leadership roles and making myself prepared more opportunities.... Read 32 reviews

Master's Student: My academic advisor, Karen Cross, helped me a ton with the process of applying and enrolling. She explained things in great detail on what to expect. She also answered all of my questions I had and even followed up with another call a week later. I am excited to get started with my Masters program for Health and Wellness Education at ACE. This will give me so much range in furthering my career. Not to mention, it is by far the most affordable for those like myself that want to obtain higher education without being stuck with additional debt. They also offered zoom sessions to answer any questions people may have pertaining any of the programs; which I thought were very helpful. I look forward to beginning my Masters program this upcoming fall!... Read 88 reviews
