Current Master's student: To provide some context, I am currently attending NYU in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. The program is excellent in the sense that it is organized, comprehensive, and highly individualized as the class size is so small (capped at 40 per year). The program is designed to mold each student into well-rounded, generalized practitioners which sets a great foundation for us if we choose to further our careers with certain specialties. The professors of this program are without a doubt some of the most passionate people in the field and it shows during their lectures and how they interact with students. Professors highlight that while yes they are teaching us, they also learn from us with our new perspectives as well which evenly places importance on both the professor and the student. Overall, I would highly recommend this program to anyone pursuing a DPT degree.... Read 21 reviews

Master's Student: The Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College is an amazing institution. The program is on par with other top programs in NYC like NYU but it is a fraction of the cost for in-state students. I got my MPA in 2021 and had a truly top-notch education. The professors really care about the students and truly love what they do. I felt all my professors were experts in their field and very helpful.... Read 7 reviews

Alum: The professors at Fordham's Graduate School of Education are highly knowledgeable and supportive. They have real-life experience in the classroom and work hard to ensure that students understand the content they are expected to learn. The hybrid format of the program allowed me to work on many assignments on my own schedule while still holding my accountable during in-person classes. It was manageable to attend school while working/student-teaching full time. Though the program itself was very small, the students had a strong bond and worked diligently together to ensure understanding and offer peer support. It had a strong connection with international communities and was very diverse.... Read 8 reviews

Graduate Student: Monmouth University has a very strong Education program. Education majors get out into the schools early and are provided with many opportunities to observe teachers and teach their own lessons throughout the required courses. Monmouth University's professors and other employees are very approachable and will offer any help they can to ensure that Monmouth students have everything they need to be successful. The campus is small which provides a great space to build community and relationships with fellow students.... Read 1 review

Administrator: College can be a very exciting and transformative time in a student's life. It's a place where you'll have the opportunity to learn new things, meet new people, and gain experiences that can shape your future. One of the most significant changes when transitioning from high school to college is the level of independence that you'll have. You'll be responsible for managing your time, balancing academic and personal responsibilities, and making decisions that can impact your future. Of course, college can also be challenging at times. You'll likely encounter academic and personal challenges, and you may feel overwhelmed or stressed at various points. However, with the right resources and support, you can overcome these challenges and grow as a person. Overall, college can be a wonderful and fulfilling experience, and it's up to you to make the most of your time there.... Read 12 reviews

Master's Student: What I enjoyed the most about Pace University School of Education was the attention to detail paid by the faculty and administration to their students. I was always able to receive individualized help from all my professors each and every one of my semesters. I also greatly benefited from the experience and relationship I formed with my Academic Advisor. She has ensured and fostered both my academic success and professional development, and for this I am truly grateful. I'm completely proud to be a student of Pace University School of Education and I recommend all future teachers come to the NYC area to learn progressively with fellow future leaders of the world in a nurturing, safe, positive environment!...
