Master's Student: Enrollment in the graduate program was easy and efficient. UTRGV is current with the nature of today's student needs and has developed its graduate programs to meet them. Students can attend on campus, online or hybrid classes. Students who attend line are subject to the campus fees; an ethical and cost effective approach that many other universities have not adopted. Guidance is readily available, staff and professors are helpful and knowledgeable. Master's Student: I actually didn't expect to find teachers to be so caring about their students. Teachers go out of their time to give their students all the tools to make good grades, not just good, but excellent. They of course expect alot from their students because they offer you all the resources that you need as a student to succeed. My professors would sit down with me in their office and explain my possibilities of making a B, or A and tell me ways I could prepare more to ensure I got what I wanted. They were patient and truly wonderful. I never felt left alone or uncomfortable. We even planned times where I would come in and review with them material that I didn't fully comprehend in class. And when ever they weren't available, the library was always open with plenty of people there at the study sessions that I could go to and ask for help. There is no reason not to succeed at SFA with the great people there, it's just impossible.... Read 6 reviews

Master's Student: The best parts of my experience while working towards my Biology degree at Texas A&M University - San Antonio were the professors and the curriculum offered. Professor such as Professor Valdez, Professor Borda, and Professor Wise-Valdez (just to name a few!) really stood out to me because they delivered intriguing lessons in a manner that was informative and digestible. The worst parts of my experience was the fact that there were procedures still in place from COVID. I felt as though the interactions between peers, teachers aids, and some professors were limited because it lacked the same degree of interaction that could be achieved in face-to-face conversations....
