Current Master's student: The academic program is profound. I did my undergraduate program in biochemistry and this change in studies is very new to me and also not as difficult in terms of work load. Master's Student: I will start school this fall, but I'm already having a wonderful experience. I completed a course called Preparing for Seminary, which was very helpful and encouraging. The course provided insight into the expectations of the program and helped me to map out my time commitment and budgeting as they relate to obtaining my degree. I am also taking the opportunity to test our of several courses. As a returning student who graduated from undergraduate school in 1991, all of the new technologies would have been overwhelming had this course not been offered and required. Dallas Theological Seminary has offered several on line gatherings to help students connect and acclimate to the school and to their community. I am very excited to join the Dallas Theological Seminary family to see all that God has for me to learn there. Master's Student: HGST experience was great for a few reasons. The first reason is that its a very personal experience socially, emotionally and spiritually. The connections and bonds developed with fellow cohorts, adjuncts, and professors was quite demonstrative.
